Finding the Words is our flagship project for people living with dementia, and their carers and families. Throughout an eighteen week residency, we will work with your group to create poetry, music and movement, finishing with a sharing event at The Forge (at The Anvil) with friends and family.

Location: At your care home / other arranged space. Final sharing event at The Anvil

Suitable for: People of any age living with dementia

No. spaces per concert: 8 - 12 (we will accept up to 15 as we understand that not all members will be able to make every session)

What people will explore: Alongside poetry, music, and movement, creative conversations about all artforms will ensure that the group get the opportunity to share stories, opinions, and meet new people that will all support improvements in cognitive ability

Benefits for carers, family and friends: It is our intention that, through the 18 weeks of these sessions, participants will be engaged and using creative outlets to help them to live well with dementia. Through evaluating this project, we may be able to find ways to further our offer of support in future

Cost: Free. You will need to arrange transport to and from The Anvil for the final sharing event
