Nic Gibney is thrilled to be returning to Basingstoke this Christmas! This is his sixth panto for UK Productions, having clocked up a Polly La Plonk in Mansfield, Widow Twankey in Basingstoke, and a double bubble of Ugly Sisters in Bath and Basingstoke. He reached the semi-final of Britain's Got Talent in 2022 as Harmony Hard-Up, with the panto inspired group, Damenation. Nic was the recipient of the UK Pantomime Awards Best Ugly Sisters 2022 for Cinderella at the Bath Theatre Royal.

He trained at Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 2008. Theatre credits include Phantom and u/s Frankfurter and Brad in The Rocky Horror Show (European Tour); Magaldi in Evita (European and UK tours); Jesus Christ Superstar (Slovenia); Pirelli in Sweeny Todd (Dubai); The Pirate King in The Pirates of Penzance (Hackney Empire and Australia Tour); Drake and u/s Daddy Warbucks in Annie (UK Tour, West End and Canada), Ellyott in Private Lives, and Man 1 in Smokey Joe's Cafe for the Adonia Theatre Company.

Nic performed the Magaldi and Eva scene from Evita with the original Broadway Eva and three-time Tony Winner, Patti LuPone, in her one-woman show at Leicester Square Theatre, and was invited to sing with Patti again at the Nederlander Theatre, New York, in Deconstructing Patti in Sep 2017.
