Kate has worked in theatre and events for over 25 years with her first professional job as Deputy Stage Manager on Mother Goose at The Anvil. She went on to work as a Stage Manager with companies such as Welsh National Opera, Opera Ireland, The D’Oyly Carte Opera and Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, touring nationally and internationally. After a few years in event management, Kate returned to theatre and she is now Head of Production Workshops at the National Theatre, London. 

In her spare time, Kate is Chair of the Basingstoke Branch for the RNLI and regularly participates in collections and fundraising events around the town. Kate is also part of the small executive team who run the Rotherwick Patch and their annual events. Kate is delighted to join The Anvil Trust, to support her local arts venue and return to the venue where her career started.
