Chris has performed and directed in many pantomimes over the last twenty years from playing Dick in Dick Whittington to Buttons in Cinderella. Following success directing and starring in both Snow White, Aladdin, and Beauty & The Beast, Chris is delighted to be returning to The Anvil.

Chris played the role of Charles Hardwick in the feature film The Postcard Killings, released in 2020. Other film credits include gulag in Muppets Most Wanted, Dave Eastman in Requiem For Tomorrow, Armed Officer in Monochrome and Jamie Rudd in Grip.

Chris may be best-known for his role as Mr Stephen in the BAFTA nominated The Basil Brush Show. He also played Eddie Smith in The Sarah Jane Adventures and Gerald Smedley in The Sooty Show.

As well as directing many pantomimes, Chris has also written and directed Professor Chuckles & His Laboratory of Inventions (Cadbury World), Basil Brush, and Basil Brush Sketch Show.
