Internationally renowned musician Vikki Clayton possesses a purity of voice which few can emulate – not many could comfortably fit into the shoes of the late Sandy Denny and do such justice to her role within Fairport Convention.

Vikki first came to prominence when she was a member of Ragged Heroes and has since forged a hugely successful solo career recording and releasing eight albums. Guests on her albums include John Giblin (Simple Minds), Martin Barre (Jethro Tull), and Liam Genockey (Steeleye Span).

Without any shadow of doubt, Vikki Clayton is one of the best and most successful female folk singers this country has produced in the past forty years. Her latest album Messenger is hailed as her best so far, and this show's set consists of both traditional and contemporary folk performances. No lover of folk music can afford to miss this show!
