The three members of the band are gathered together, two sat down and the stood in the middle. They appear to be in an art studio or an office. It's full of drawings on the wall, lots of books and all the furniture is wooden.

Tarren is an ambassador for new folk; music that is fresh and dynamic, rooted in the English tradition. Original and traditional material is expertly arranged by this trio of musicians who are creating music that moves and excites people. By incorporating modular hooks and minimalist forms, the band are leading folk music to a new place, while keeping the pulse of traditional dance at its heart.

Tarren is made up of Bristol-based artists Sid Goldsmith, Alex Garden and Danny Pedler. They combine cittern and concertina, fiddle, and accordion to create new, dynamic English Folk music.
