Described as ‘a master of the guitar’ by Sean Rafferty, BBC Radio 3 In Tune and as a ‘highly recommended artist’ by Celtic Connections, Iago Banet creates stories without words, enthralling audiences as he does so. 

Influenced by figures such as Merle Travis, Chet Atkins and Tommy Emmanuel, he has released three solo albums, including A Sunset Wine (2019), Iago Banet (2022) and TRES (2023), and has carried out several highly successful tours throughout the UK.

Banet has built a reputation as a solo artist in what is known as fingerstyle; showcasing new levels of skill and complexity, and receiving outstanding reviews as he does so. He has appeared on In Tune twice and has featured on BBC Radio 2's The Blues Show with Cerys Matthews. His versatility and immense talent is reflected in his fusing of styles, including fingerstyle, gypsy jazz, blues, rock, country, dixieland swing, Tex-Mex, pop and folk.
