The internationally renowned BBC Big Band are joined by incredible piano-vocalist, Joe Stilgoe, and the acclaimed singer Natalie Williams, for an evening of world-class music inspired by the great swing bands and best vocalists of the twentieth century.
Through a diverse repertoire arranged and curated by the BBC Big Band’s conductor, Barry Forgie, the concert celebrates the music of the century’s most valued vocalists and swing bands - whose legacy and influence continues to define a golden era of music.
Featuring music from the likes of Duke Ellington and Count Basie, as well as vocalists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra and Nat King Cole (along with a few surprises along the way), this is a truly feel-good evening of music celebrating the Art of Swing and Song.
