The Anvil Trust is an independent educational charity which runs Anvil Arts, the largest performing arts organisation in Hampshire. At The Anvil, The Haymarket, and The Forge, thousands of people from all over the region discover great performance – live.

At Anvil Arts we:

• Present over 450 performances per year
• Bring some of the best names in music, comedy, dance and theatre to Basingstoke
• Create opportunities for 30,000 local children per year to perform on our stages
• Provide musical education in schools across Hampshire
• Work in schools, care homes, hospitals, shopping centres, and across the Borough to deliver social outcomes such as: increased attainment in schools; raised aspirations; tackling isolation and loneliness; improved perceptions of where people live
• Promote the image and reputation of Basingstoke to a national and international audience
• Generate £8 million a year for the local economy
