A talented member of staff has been showing off his creativity, providing homes for the birds with the use of our Haymarket advertising boards.
But it's not only the birds who benefit. Our brilliant Stage Door Keeper, Rodney Field reuses the materials to build all sorts of garden decorations. From planters to ornaments, he's constructed many pieces by painting over the existing artwork to give it another purpose.
Whether he uses the boards to add to an already existing structure, or creates something from scratch, he transforms them into something completely new and exciting.
Well done, Rodney!

At Anvil Arts, we have committed ourselves to reducing our environmental impact, and throughout our operations we are becoming a more sustainable organisation.
Some of our achievements to date include:
- In 2019, we replaced the majority of lighting in The Anvil's auditorium with energy-saving LED fixtures – reducing the amount of energy consumed by each light by 90%
- We have eliminated all single-use plastics from Front of House areas, bringing in either reusable ware or compostable single-use vegware
- Our brochures are sent out in recyclable polywrap, plus we now email more copies of our brochures than we print
