How to Book

The Anvil and The Haymarket have ticket sales counters at their main entrances, and each can take bookings for all Anvil Arts venues and events.

Opening hours

The Anvil Box Office is open Monday-Saturday from 10am (excluding Bank Holidays). Open one hour before Sunday performances.

The Haymarket Box Office is open 1 hour before performances.

Phone lines are open until 6pm Monday to Saturday, later on performance evenings. Please note that lines are very busy at 10am. A queuing system is in operation.

How to pay

We accept Mastercards and all Visa cards, postal orders and Anvil Arts vouchers. Please do not send cash through the post. We do not accept personal cheques.

Anvil Arts gift vouchers: are available from the box office for any amount. They are redeemable for tickets in all Anvil Arts venues and valid for 12 months from the date of issue. You can buy our gift vouchers online. Please note we do not accept Theatre Tokens.

Booking fee: All ticket prices include a booking fee. The Anvil Trust is an independent educational charity and without the booking fee, we would not be able to offer the current level and variety of programme, or our extensive work with schools and young people.

No refunds can be given. We offer ticket cancellation protection.

Reserved tickets that have not been paid for are held for three days or until an hour before the performance, whichever is sooner. After this time, unpaid reservations will be released.

Paying less

Discounts are available for perfomances where stated. Only one discount can apply to any one ticket, and you will be asked to prove your eligibility. Discounts may not be available on all ticket prices at the same performance.

Anvil Arts reserves the right to introduce special offers at any time, and these cannot be applied to tickets already purchased.

Infant in arms: children under two years old when accompanied by an adult ticket holder require an infant in arms ticket, price £1 (available at selected performances only). 

Exchange and resale of tickets

Once tickets have been printed, they can be exchanged within the run of the same event for tickets of the same value at a cost of 50p per ticket. Lost tickets can be reprinted at a cost of 50p per ticket. We operate a resale facility on sold out performances at a cost of £1.50 per ticket.
