Mahotsav a special festival of South Asian and music celebrating the company’s 20 years of work in the UK. In partnership with the High Commission of India, it celebrates the work of internationally renowned Guru Ratikant Mohapatra Odissi Doyen from India with his group.

There will be internationally acclaimed performers performing in Kuchipudi, Kathak, Mohiniattam and Chhau styles.

A specially commissioned breath-taking performance, this show will feature great skill from Kala’s Lasya dancers, live music from Tabla wizard Hiren Chate, Ghatam drumming by Bangalore Prakash, and playing from Surjit Singh.

Choreographed by Sushmita Pati Artistic Director and Dr Cathy Seago an international contemporary choreographer (Evolving Motions, University of Winchester).
