The Anvil and The Forge

By car

Basingstoke is at junction six of the M3, and on the A33 south of Reading. Follow signs for Town Centre and brown signs to The Anvil. Parking in The Anvil car park is currently £1 from 6pm to 11pm.

By coach

Coach drop off points are outside The Anvil on Churchill Way.

By train

The Anvil is just across the road from Basingstoke train station. Basingstoke is on the London Waterloo line; 45-60 mins from Waterloo, 30-35 mins from Southampton Central. Trains run in both directions until after midnight.

By bike

Cycle parking is available at the front of The Anvil, underneath the car park ramp to the right of the entrance. More information on cycling in Basingstoke can be found at the BDBC Cycling website.

By bus

Basingstoke town centre bus station is a ten minute walk away through Festival Place shopping centre.

By foot

Once in the town centre, walk to The Malls shopping area near the train station. The Anvil's entrance is at the end of The Malls, down a flight of stairs or a ramp.

The Haymarket

By car

From the ring road or M3 junction 6, follow signs to Basingstoke town centre and then brown signs for The Haymarket. Parking is available in several surface car parks (currently free after 7pm) or in Festival Place shopping centre (evening charge).

By foot

Once in the town centre, walk through Festival Place and out of the south exit into Wote Street. Walk up the hill and The Haymarket's main entrance is on the right.
