The Full English- Who's Who?

The Full English is a ground-breaking project developed by the English Folk Dance and Song Society, together with some of the biggest names in folk music, an astounding repertoire of  English folk songs, tunes, dances and customs in the world has been created and have subsequently won two awards at the BBC Radio 2 Folk awards for Best Group and Best Album.

If you know your folk, there's sure to be a few familliar names on the bill.
The Full English is comprised of:

Fay Hield- Traditonal folk singer and former member of The Witches of Elswick.
Seth Lakeman - Folk singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist as well as a member of The Lakeman Brothers and The Seth Lakeman Band.
Martin Simpson - Widely acknowledged as one of the finest acoustic and slide guitar players in the world and winner of Best Album at the 2008 BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for his album Prodigal Son.
Nancy Kerr - Fiddlesinger and songwriter Nancy Kerr is a five times BBC Radio Folk Awards winner.
Sam Sweeney- A multi-Instumentalist and member of folk ensemble Fay Kield and The Hurricane Party.
Rob Harbron - One of the country's leading concertina players, Rob currenlty plays with Fay Hield and the Hurricane Party, Jon Boden and the Remnane Kings, Kerr Fagan Habron and others.
Ben Nicholls -  A talented double bass player and multi-instrumentalist, best known for playing  with the award-winning Seth Lakeman Band.
