Musetta and Tallulah

Local dog set to cameo in La bohème

Posted on

There's paws for thought in the upcoming production of Puccini's La bohème, as local dog Tallulah lands a featured role!

Tallulah, a three-year-old Shihtzu who lives in Basingstoke, will appear as Musetta's dog in a cafe scene in the celebrated opera. A happy dog who loves playing with balls, sleeping and getting her lovely long hair platted, Tallulah has a laid back temperament and the only thing that makes her bark is seeing a cat! With her calm nature and fearless attitude, she will no doubt love all the attention. Her owner, 14 year-old George Stewart, is looking forward to going on stage with Tallulah as Musetta’s butler.

Here's hoping she's the perfect pooch for Puccini!

La bohème is at The Anvil on Thu 27 Apr, 7.30pm. Book your tickets now.
