Fluid Motion joins Anvil Arts as Associate Artist

Posted on

Anvil Arts is delighted that local theatre company Fluid Motion is to become the latest of its Associate Artists.

Fluid Motion works with a wide range of people from some of the most vulnerable groups in society in order to encourage creativity, increase confidence and improve employability. Anvil Arts’ Community Development Manager Flis Pitman will be working closely with Fluid Motion over the next two years.

Leigh Johnstone, Artistic Director of Fluid Motion said "We are extremely proud of being given the opportunity to be an associate company of Anvil Arts which we value as a leading arts organisation in Hampshire. Working in partnership will give us the chance to develop our work in Basingstoke and extend our reach across Hampshire."

Fluid Motion has already started working with Anvil Arts with the All In The Mind Festival, which took place during June and which hopes to become an annual arts festival aimed at challenging preconceived ideas about mental health.
