Charlie Gracie steps into the breach for The Solid Gold Rock 'N' Roll Show

Posted on

Previously announced Eden Kane will regretfully step down from The Solid Gold Rock ‘N’ Roll Show's UK tour due to unanticipated heart surgery, from which he is recovering from, and making great progress.

Added to the line-up of original dreamboats will be US rock and roller Charlie Gracie, joining Marty Wilde who headlines the tour as part of his 80th birthday celebrations, as well as Mike Berry and very special guest Little Miss Sixties’ Nancy Ann Lee.
An American rock pioneer, in 1957, Charlie's single Butterfly topped the American and British music charts, selling over three million copies. His other late 50's big sellers include Fabulous, Ninety-Nine Ways, Wanderin' Eyes and Cool Baby. Incredibly, he was also the first solo American artist to bring rock 'n' roll to the UK stage.
