Thunder and Rain

With their roots in traditional bluegrass and folk, this Colorado-based five-piece has established a strong footing, appealing to the same audience as The Stray Birds, Lindsay Lou & The Flatbellys and The Pine Hearts. Fusing elements of rock and pop with acoustic instrumentation, they have created a very distinctive sound of their own.

Tony Hadley

Millions know him as the former front man of Spandau Ballet, which earned him the accolade of one of pop’s great vocalists.

Now after the much anticipated solo album Talking to the Moon, Tony Hadley will be joining us for a night of Gold music, giving you the chance to hear tracks from his new album plus some Spandau Ballet hits!

Carols & Capers 2018

Following the hugely popular 25th anniversary Christmas tour, renowned folk singer Maddy Prior joins up once again with the Carnival Band during the festive season for their celebratory show Carols & Capers.

Together they mix renaissance, modern and ethnic instruments with a refreshing cavalier attitude and plenty of humour putting their inimitable stamps on a range of familiar and not-so-familiar festive fare.

This will guarantee to be a Christmas party to remember.

Josienne Clarke & Ben Walker

Josienne and Ben are four albums and a couple of EPs into a partnership that blends Walker's intricate guitar playing and arrangements with Clarke's compelling songwriting.

Josienne brings her songs, melodies and words to Ben, who tinkers with the music and arrangements. Delivered in her wearily mellow, river-clear voice - the sound of a "haunted angel", said the Financial Times - Clarke's lyrics transform her raw subject matter with heartrendingly powerful yet precise symbolism and metaphor.

A Nashville-Style "In The Round" Concert

Three talented musicians join forces for a night of music, Nashville style! Between them they have been captivating audiences throughout the UK and US.

Jesse Terry has made it his mission to share his love of music fully and completely, without regard for shading his emotions. He has played at festivals such as Bonnaroo, Philadelphia Folk Festival and 30A Songwriters Festival.

Kimmie Rhodes

A fascinating, intimate and spontaneous evening of stories and songs with legendary singer/songwriter Kimmie Rhodes (accompanied by multi-instrumentalist Gabriel Rhodes) “in conversation” with BBC Radio 2 broadcaster Bob Harris (OBE) reflecting on Kimmie's rich musical history, the sounds of Austin and the legacy of Texan songwriting, in celebration of the release of Radio Dreams her memoir and the companion audio CD (produced by Bob Harris.)

Ben Folds and a Piano

Taking to the stage with just a grand piano for company, cult hero Ben Folds plays tracks both classic and current.

After focusing on large-scale live work with orchestras in recent years, this show recalls his original solo tours where he defied sceptics by delivering high energy rock performances using only a piano.

There are few musicians that can draw on such a varied and vast body of work. Don’t be surprised to hear Ben Folds Five favourites followed by stripped back renditions of his more classical-leaning repertoire.
