Philharmonia Orchestra has announced Jakub Hrůša as one of their new Principal Guest Conductors.

A rising star of the classical world, Hrůša's appointment was announced earlier today, and marks a significant step in the conductor's increasingly impressive career. He is already garnering rave reviews for his energetic and refined style of conducting, most recently from The Arts Desk which praised him as "one of [Brahms'] greatest interpreters." Read the full review

He will be appearing with the orchestra at The Anvil on Fri 7 Apr, in a concert featuring works by Brahms, Tchaikovsky and Dvořák, and a performance by acclaimed Armenian violinist Sergey Khachatryan
